Paso Robles is known for producing some of the finest Zinfandel wines in the world (just ask the New York Times!). Every year, there seems to be more varieties of incredible Paso Robles Zinfandels to sip and savour. It’s part of the reason that Paso Robles Wine Country was named 2013 Wine Region of the Year by Wine Enthusiast!
 
If you’re a wine lover, make sure you book at trip to Paso Robles from March 14th to 16th for the highly anticipated local weekend wine festival titled Vintage Paso: Zinfandel and Other Wild Wines. 
 
More than 120 wineries are participating in this iteration of Paso Robles’ annual celebration of Zinfandel. You can look forward to a plethora of wine tastings, winemaker dinners, vineyard tours, barbeques, barrel tastings, live music and more. With so many amazing events happening, the hardest part will be choosing which ones to attend! To make things easier, here’s a list of a couple of local wineries with some fun things in store for Zinfandel weekend:
 
Vina Robles Winery
3700 Mill Road, Paso Robles
Saturday will feature a “wine and swine” bacon bar with all manner of tasty bacon goodies paired with amazing Vina Robles Wine. On Sunday, it’s the ever popular cupcake and wine pairings event featuring live music.
 
Le Vigne Winery
5115 Buena Vista Drive, Paso Robles
Multi-vintage barrel tastings, a Sicilian themed dinner, exclusive wine and cheese pairings—the offerings a Le Vinge Winery for the Zinfandel fest are to die for. Be sure to check them out!
