From museums to Ravine Waterpark, there are plenty of kid-friendly activities in Paso Robles the whole family will enjoy. When the weather warms up, it’s time to head outside and Ravine Waterpark is the place to be! Enjoy a leisurely afternoon floating around Kickback Kreek, racing along a supersonic liquid track at Quadzilla or plunging nearly five stories on the thrilling Kamakazi slide. Whatever you choose to do, Ravine Waterpark offers a healthy dose of summer fun fit for the whole family. There’s also the Tadpool wading pool perfect for the little ones. This 9,000 square foot pool features a play structure, Big Squirt and multiple slides to keep them entertained for hours.

Estrella Warbird Museum

The Estrella Warbird is home to an impressive collection of military aviation artifacts and war memorabilia. The museum is a great way for the younger generation to get a closer look at the past. Kids of all ages will enjoy the planes, fighter tanks and war equipment, and there’s even a classic car display to admire. It all adds up to an educational glimpse into a different era that will leave the kids in awe and the parents with a bit of nostalgia.

Downtown City Park

Located in the heart of downtown Paso Robles, City Park is an ideal place to picnic under the trees while the kids run around. It features a state-of-the-art playground that children won’t be able to get enough of. Additionally, there are horseshoe pits for older kids. As the central hub, Downtown City Park also plays host to a number of community events throughout the summer.

Sensorio Field of Light

Beginning May 19, 2019, Paso Robles will transform into a brilliant, artistic installation of lights—58,800 light spheres, to be exact. Powered by solar, this walk-through installation will illuminate the multi-acre landscape with blooms of morphing color. People of all ages are invited to witness this unique and stunning experience.

Paso Robles Children’s Museum

The Children’s Museum at the Paso Robles Volunteer Firehouse is a non-profit organization which has a lot to offer. Fun and educational activities and exhibits focus on educating children and families. From the Gramp Stomp ball pit to the Toolbox Piano that plays music corresponding to different tools, the Paso Robles Children’s Museum is a great way to inspire joy and curiosity through interactive play and learning.
