As summertime cools off, harvest season in Paso Robles Wine Country starts to heat up! And for many wine lovers, California Wine Month in September is their favorite time of year to visit. As vineyards and wineries begin crafting their next great vintage, visitors can celebrate the bounty with a variety of events and activities that feature music, food, special offers and complimentary wine tastings.

BEAVERSTOCK | September 17-18 | Doors open at noon. Live music from 1-9pm

Celebrating music, arts and community, the annual Beaverstock Festival at Castoro Cellars, features two days of wine-loving, peace and music in the vineyard. With an amazing lineup of food and wine, music, yoga, games, arts and crafts, and more, Beaverstock is truly a one-of-a-kind event.

ANNUAL TASTE OF DOWNTOWN & ARTE de TIZA | September 17 | 8am-4pm

Whether you’re an artist, foodie or wine lover (or all three), September 17th is the perfect day to enjoy Paso Robles! Starting with the annual Arte de Tiza, and continuing with the Taste of Downtown, this Saturday is full of amazing chalk drawings, music, tasty samples and delicious Paso Robles wine.

ARTE de TIZA  | September 17 | 8am | FREE Admission | Downtown City Park
Starting at 8am, the sidewalks surrounding Paso Robles’ Downtown City Park will be transformed into a colorful display of beautiful artwork as chalk artists of all ages showcase their talents and compete to be chosen best in their category.

Over 100 sidewalk squares are marked-off for artists ranging from elementary school age to adult, with a special area reserved for preschoolers to dabble! Inspired? Bring your own chalk supplies and show off your artistic creativity, or just spend some relaxing time conversing with the artists and observing their work.

The 15th annual Arte de Tiza is sponsored by the Paso Robles Art Association and is held in conjunction with the Downtown Paso Robles Main Street Association’s Taste of Downtown event. Funds raised through sponsorships and donations provide scholarships for North County art students at Cuesta College.

TASTE OF DOWNTOWN | September 17 | 11am-4pm | Tickets $25 | Downtown City ParkExplore the scrumptious eats and savory sips at over 35 of Paso Robles’ esteemed eateries and wineries throughout the downtown district. The 19th annual Taste of Downtown gives you a chance to discover what you’ve been missing about Paso, or to get reacquainted with the local merchants as they open their doors for one-on-one sampling.

With the purchase of a pass, you can sample to your heart’s delight as you tour your way through downtown hot spots. Participating restaurants and wineries located outside the downtown area will offer their creations in the park.
