Paso Park band

Fear not, music lovers. The park bandstand is alive and well this summer, thanks to the Concerts in the Park series being held in the City Park gazebo. Every Thursday at 5:30 to 7:30 pm, a different band will be entertaining the crowds with their own unique music, and boy, are there some unique sounds! From a 60s cover band to old school R&B to modern rock, there’s something for everyone, so next time you’re in town, stake your spot in the park with a blanket and take in some tunes.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS – August 6
Unfinished Business loves the 60s and has declared that decade the unbeatable decade of music. After realizing that no more music would be coming from the 60s, they decided to take it into their own hands to bring the greats back and formed a cover band. They have now played at hundreds of events and have entertained countless true music fans with their eclectic mix of covers, ranging from Hendrix to Otis Redding to The Ventures and much, much more.

BIG DADDY’S BLUES BAND – August 13
Opening for everyone from John Mayall to Howlin’ Wolf and more, these guys are the real deal. Putting their great old-soul R&B spin on both covers and original tunes, this five-piece has played all over the coast and is ready to blow your socks off—or at least the saxophonist is. Get ready to dance to these veteran rhythm-makers!

THE JD PROJECT – August 20
These contemporary rockers consistently prove that rock is alive and well as they get crowds of hundreds on their feet and dancing. Mixing blues and soul with their driving rhythms, they have one goal and one goal only: to help you have a great time. With their well-crafted lyrics and expert musicianship, even a veteran concert-goer will be impressed with what they hear.

Don’t be surprised if you think you feel an earthquake in Paso Robles this August—it’s probably just a horde of dancers in the City Park, so join them! And while you’re in town, be sure to stop by our hotel—book your room today. We look forward to your visit!
