While one could argue that every month is wine month in California, there’s something extra special about September on the Central Coast. Not only is it the harvest season, when the area’s vines are full of grapes ready to be harvested for crush, but September is also officially known as California Wine Month. Whether you fancy yourself a serious oenophile or just enjoy the occasional glass of wine, there’s no better time for any wine lover to enjoy Paso Robles wine tasting.

California Wine Month is a statewide celebration that includes regional events, educational dinners, tours and exclusive wine tastings, and you can be sure that many Paso wineries partake in the festivities. September promises a plethora of fun happenings in and around Paso Robles Wine Country – the only downside will be trying to decide where to taste!

If you’d rather stick to one general area, don’t miss the 21st Annual Taste of Downtown on September 15th from 11-4pm. Held in downtown Paso Robles, this fun event offers the chance to savor the food and wine that downtown Paso wineries and eateries have to offer. It’s a delicious way to explore the bounty of the Central Coast, tasting your way around downtown while admiring chalk art from local artists of all ages during Arte de Tiza.

The Adelaide Inn is located in the heart of Paso Robles Wine Country and just minutes from historic downtown Paso Robles’ shopping, dining and wine tasting rooms. Stay with us during California Wine Month this September and receive 15% off your stay. Just use promo code SUMMER when booking.

September is a great time of year to visit Paso Robles to celebrate our beloved wine region and all that our area’s vintners and farmers bring to our community. We hope you’ll join us!
