With the arrival of summer comes a different type of conundrum than we are sometimes accustomed to in the quieter months: instead of a shortage of events, the dilemma lies within the abundance of choices! Look no further to cut right to the chase, as we’ve done all the leg work to highlight for you all the best that beautiful Paso Robles has to offer in the upcoming weeks:
Mid-State Fair, July 16-27: You might feel surprised at the length of this festival, but given how much is offered during, it’s a wonder they managed to jam-pack it all in! In the beautiful, sprawling State of California where you can find it all, over the course of these 11 days, all has been centralized conveniently for you so you don’t have to look quite so far! With five grandiose stages showcasing elite musical talent, carnival rides, equestrian shows and shooting galleries (to name a mere few!) this is the ultimate fair that all others aspire to
Concerts in the Park, July 18: If only we could all personify that viral e-card of an office worker throwing up his papers, declaring “forget this, it’s music festival season!” Now there is no better reason to than for this concert series, held each Friday (luckily after the work day, so no document tossing required!) from 5:30-7:30pm at the City Park Gazebo. Featured this Friday, July 18th is the talented group Rob Larkin & The Wayward Ones, strumming a refreshing composite of rock, soul, and Americana.
Olive Festival, August 16: If the Greek knew to incorporate it into almost every constituent of their cuisine, we should all follow their lead and enlighten ourselves on this complex and dynamic fruit (or as some would consider, vegetable!) The opportunity to do so is provided from 10am-5pm at the Paso Robles Downtown City Park, where local olives will be the source of sampling, education, and culinary competition.
At the Adelaide Inn, we would be honored to offer you a comfortable place to rest your head after a bustling festival day. By booking one of our luxurious and affordable rooms, you will be treating yourself to the perfect accommodation complement to your perfect vacation.
