«Return to Blog List It’s 5 o’clock Somewhere! Paso Robles Wine Festival Kicks off May 19

Welcome to May in Paso Robles – no doubt you are in town for the 34th Annual Wine Festival uncorking on Thursday, May 19. It’s a swirling celebration of our local wine industry’s innovation and dedication to vinification. The first evening of the festival brings a selection of Winemaker Dinners, followed by the Reserve event on Friday, featuring select winery samples of their Library, Reserve, White/Rosé and Futures alongside gourmet amusé bouche-style dishes from local eateries.

The weekend’s events include a massive winery showcase in Paso Robles Downtown City Park, with more than 80 wineries present to highlight their best bottles for the Grand Tasting event. With this much wine around, you won’t want an empty stomach – order a pre-packed picnic lunch to enjoy onsite, complete with a reusable lunch bag.

More is happening outside the park all weekend at the 140-plus wineries in and around Paso Robles, featuring live music, winemaker dinners, barrel samples and more. Check out their website for more info, and don’t be shy – ask our friendly front desk staff about this great event if you have any questions!
